If you know how buying an automobile works, then I am sure you know the typical sales lingo and types of negotiating that can be involved with car sales people. Now let’s assume that you managed to get a great deal and a price you can afford. Well unless you are paying cash then you probably still have more negotiating left. For example if you finance your vehicle through the dealership, the finance person at the dealership is usually working on commission.

So in other words, that means that the financing deal for your car is still to be decided (although they’ll never tell you that). It is the finance person’s job to up sell you on extra items like extended warranties after you have agreed on a price for your car with the salesman.

If you’re like most people, paying cash for a car is not much of a possibility, or even if it is you may not want to deplete your savings just to get a new vehicle.
Therefore you are likely either going to be leasing the car, or buying the car by financing it. If you’re buying, then you’re probably financing it through the dealership, a bank or credit union, an online financial institute, or maybe even a family member.

Now with the development of the Internet there are many web sites that offer Guaranteed Car Finance, doing the work for you, finding the most appropriate finance provider and them asking them to contact you, even if you have arrears, defaults or no credit history.

If you are planning to take your family for a road trip you will need to take a few precautions before you go. We are not just talking about packing the lunch and not forgetting the youngest child in the bathroom, we are talking about taking your car for a roadworthy test. In fact you should take your car for a test every few months, even if you are not planning to go on a road trip. the road worthy test though, you will need to do a few other things, or you will be stuck in the middle of now where, and that is one thing you do not want to happen. So there are different thing you need to do for a summer road trip and there are different things you need to do for a winter road trip. Many of these things you can find out only, or your could go to your nearest mechanic to find out a few other things, some of these things, however, will be looked at in brief below.

The first thing you need to do is make an appointment with you mechanic, you do not want your holiday postponed because your car failed the road worthy test, so have a mechanic look over your car first. The checklist you need to hand to him, or rather the things you will have him look over are as follows, and he will need to check the oils, rather fluids of the car. He will have to also check all hoses and belts, including seat belts, check if there are any leaks in any part of the system, check that the air in all your tires are okay and if not get them filled, and please do not forget the spare tire in the trunk, also make sure you have a spare tire in the truck and make sure that is has no punctures, also ask him to perform a full four wheel break check. You will also need him to check the condition of you cars exhaust system, and also check and flush out the cooling system, he will then also check for any leaks in the cooling system, other things he will need to check is the battery, the alternator output and the spark plugs.

Enjoy your trip.

In many cases there is really no right used car, well maybe there is, but there are no real or right used car salespeople. You need to keep in mind that used car salesmen and saleswoman are there for on reason and one reason only. That reason is to get your money and send you on your way with a smile on your face, even if that mean lying to you and many of them do just that. A good salesperson and tell you a lie straight in your face and you will smile at how good it sounds. If you see sticky tape holding a bumper on to a car and your questions him or her about it, he will work as hard as he can to make you believe that it is the new fashion statement in cars, and you will believe it. Have you ever heard the phrase “a good salesperson can sell ice to an Eskimo?” It is really true and all you are to that car salesman or car saleswoman is an Eskimo, and he is selling ice all day long, so be careful.

When you are looking to buy a new car, first do your research at to what the car dealership can offer you, what are the rates and if you are planning to get a car loan from them, what are the repayment terms. You then need to decide what kind of car you want to buy, and do not ask your car dealer about this, as he or she will just push the most expensive car in your face. Ask friends and look on the internet, you should in fact have a car in mind as a car that you always wanted, why not go for that one. If you have chosen a car that you will love to have go to the dealer that gives you the best price, the best repayment terms, and the your chosen car, in the best shape. Be sure to look at what kind of shape the car is in, is many of the problems are simple covered up for you to buy the car and take it off their hands, many sales are made as “as is” at many car dealerships, so be careful, and take the car for a test drive, if you feel anything wrong or hear anything funny, get it checked.

It isn’t easy finding a good mechanic to work on your car, especially if you do not trust many people with your car. Also if you just moved out of an area where your mechanic was, you could drive all the way back there when you need them, but it will be much wiser to just find a new one that is just as good as the old one. If you know people in the area it is good to get a few opinions on the local mechanic, see what his customers have to say about him. But make sure you ask a few different people. If you know someone that drives the same car that you do, get an opinion from them too, ask them where they go or where would they go if they had any problems with their car. Then go to the place that they said they went to, that way you will know that this mechanic will be able to fix your car.

Before you give your car to him to fix, take it to him, let him check it out and see where the problem is and ask him for a quotation. Once you have the quote, you will at least know how much it is going to cost you before he fixes it and it will give you time to get the money together if you don’t already have it. Also ask him if his work is guaranteed. So if you have it fixed and a few days later something happens, you need to know that you can take your car back to the same guy to get it redone and you will not have to pay for it a second time. You should never take your car to someone that doesn’t guarantee their work. If something happens to the car the very next day after you have it fixed you cannot take it back their without having to pay the man again. Also male sure that you get a receipt from the mechanic, that way he will not be able to say he didn’t work on your car, or something like that. You will have proof that he did.

Finding someone who you heard is reliable to work on your car, can sometimes be a pain. Some people are very protective over their cars and will not let just any stranger work on it. During all this panic and worry they don’t think of asking the mechanic for a receipt or anything. That could be your biggest mistake when doing any kind of business deal. The car might look and drive perfectly when you leave the workshop and maybe even for the rest of the week, but what happens when your car suddenly starts giving you the same problem – the one you just had fixed that cost you a fortune! You try taking it back to the mechanic but he tells you that he did his job by fixing it and the rest is now your problem. Don’t be too surprised because that does happen, a lot!

If this has happened to you it is best advised to get legal help and advice. Go back to the mechanic and if he refuses to redo your car then a lawyer is what you need. Call your lawyer or if you do not have one, look one up and arrange to meet him or her somewhere. Then explain the whole story and have a witness – someone to back you up, and tell the lawyer that you know that he did not fix the car properly or you were there when the car was dropped off or when it was fetched.

From there you just let the lawyer take care of everything. If you don’t have spare money for a lawyer, a state lawyer will do a great job. They will put the mechanic in his place and in the end he will end up paying you back every cent they owe you for your car and all your troubles. Once that is taken care of make sure you never go there again and warn your family and friends of this guy that calls himself a mechanic.

It is strongly advised that you do your research properly on car mechanics before you let them work on your car and make sure that they give you a receipt, invoice or quote. Then there is proof that they did it and they will stand no chance of getting away with it.

If it is a new car then every year for the first five years will do, but if it is a used second hand car then you should change it every six months, depending on the cars performance. If the car appears to be running smoothly and you have taken it to a mechanic recently and there is nothing wrong with it, every year will be fine.

It is very important that you change your car’s transmission fuel, it should be changed at least every year. If it is a new car then every year for the first five years will do, but if it is a used second hand car then you should change it every six months, depending on the cars performance. If the car appears to be running smoothly and you have taken it to a mechanic recently and there is nothing wrong with it, every year will be fine. But if your car has been giving you problems then it is probably because you haven’t changed the transmission fuel in a while.

It is almost guaranteed that you will experience different kinds of problems with your car if you do not change your transmission fuel regularly. You car will not be able to handle the same fuel all the way, you need to alternate and figure out which transmission fuel works the best for your car. It won’t be that hard to tell either, if your car reacts differently in a bad way with the new fuel. It is obvious that that fuel is not the right one for your car. You will be able to tell which fuel is best for your car, if your car seems to run smoother and it feels like it is riding better with no jerks or bumps after you have changed your fuel then you should stick with that one until it is time to change again. And when the next time comes when you have to change again you just follow the same procedure as before.

There are a few different types of fuel that may be used, you should also do a little bit of research on your car and what fuel will be best because that way you won’t have to look around and struggle to find something suitable for your car. Changing the fuel transmission and the oil on your car regularly is very important and will keep your car healthy and running smooth.

Changing the oil in your car’s engine is very important and should not be forgotten. The oil and filter should be changed every year or every 7500 miles. If it is a diesel engine or a turbo charged gasoline engine then the oil should be changed every six months or could change it every 3000 miles, depending on if you keep track of your mileage or not, if you do then you will know when you have reached the 3000 mile mark.

Just to be on the safe side most people change their oil every six months no matter what type of driving they do or what ever car they drive. If it is a new car then the oil will only need to be changed every 7500 miles or every year. The more mileage a car has the more frequently the oil needs to be changed. So rather be safe than sorry and change your oil every six months or 3000 miles. On some cars there is a light that will come on when you need to change the oil. Do not ever ignore that light! There is a reason it comes on.

It is very important to change your oil. If you do not change it often enough your car will start giving you problems and costing you a lot of money. If not changed regularly, the oil dilutes which makes it break down. All this could end up with engine problems like increased oil consumption and emission, loss of performance, and loss of the fuel economy. It could also cause oil sludging and accelerated water.

There are three main types of oil that may be used, synthetic, synthetic blend or conventional. Every car will need to change their oil eventually. It is hard to tell when you need a change just by looking at the oil because most oil goes black after a few hundred miles of driving. As the miles accumulate the oil will start getting dirty and it will lose viscosity, it won’t still have the same viscosity as when you bought it or got it new. Therefore it is extremely important that you keep track of mileage or how long you have had the car and be sure to change your oil every six months or every 3000 miles.

We have all experienced times without our cars. A lot of the time people leave their cars in their home parking lots because they can not afford some body to come out to change a flat tire. Or they can not pay for a mechanic to change the spark plugs or change their oil. Everyday millions of people around the world try to figure out how to get their cars started or driving again without the help of a mechanic.

If you have a small problem with your car, all you need to do is do it yourself. You can save a lot of money doing all the small repairs and minor maintenance jobs yourself. In fact many people around the world take it a bit further and perform their own service on their cars, and these are not just car freak and aspiring mechanics, these are your everyday business men and woman. It is explained as not just being a way of saving money, but it is also a way of relaxing your mind and taking your mind off your everyday problems and work stress, being dubbed as being very therapeutic.

It is very expensive to maintain a car, it very expensive to get a service performed on your car every 100 000 KM’s, especially if you use your car to get around every where you go. So what is the solution? It is really quite simple, all you need to do is familiarize yourself with cars, just know what the basis are, and it is really very simple to perform a full service on your own car if you know how to tighten and untie a screw or not. It is basically changing the oil, checking and changing break fluid, replacing break pads and discs, checking spark plugs and keeping them maintained maybe changing the break cable now and again. This is all very simple thing to do, and it will save you tons on money in the long run, and it will relieve you from your everyday stress.

The fact is that many people do not even know how to change a tire, in fact it will be a very lucrative business if someone, just offered a tire changing business and long road and high ways, as many people really do not how to do it themselves.
